Charlies Blanket

I started to crochet again around 2 years ago when a colleague was having a baby shower.  I decided to make a baby blanket for her gift.  I hadn't crocheted anything for over 18 year, not since my son was a baby.

I searched the Internet (such an improvement since last time I crocheted anything) and found lots of free patterns I could use.  I settle on one for a blanket made from several strips, each with a different colour and texture that were joined by an intriguing braided method.

 

The result was Charlie's Blanket and I have made many more baby blankets since.
